On Thursday, June 11 2020, Sony unveiled two versions of PS5 – the digital and standard version. Lots of gamers in Nigeria and other parts of the world at excited on the release of the Sony Playstation 5 game console.

Sony unveiled PS5 on June 11th 2020, but the game console is expected to be fully released on Thursday, November 12th 2020. It is believed that gamers can play PS4 games on the Playstation 5 console.

Some of the accessories that come with this console include the DualSense controller, a new Pulse 3D wireless headset, a media remote and a built-in mic. There is a charging facility that charges the two DualSense controllers and an HD camera for motion tracking.

The design of the PS5 takes a beautiful curved and slim shape, it can be placed vertically as well as horizontally. There are two buttons at the front of the console and a USB and USB-C slot.
Most importantly, it has high-performance, the new SSD loads faster and offers more speed than the PS4, its predecessor. The 825Gb SSD allows for better system memory management and it provides you with an ultra fast gaming experience. The Sony Playstation 5 SSD is expandable, so you can plug in an external hard drive via USB and play games directly from the plugged-in hard drive.

Some of the games you should expect to play in this console include Demon’s Souls, Hitman 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, Forbidden West, Resident Evil 8 and the legendary Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) soccer game. The PS5 is compatible with PSVR hardware, in fact, the list of features is endless.
The Sony PlayStation 5 model will cost $500 (which is over N200,000). With the cost of importation, It is expected that most retailers in Nigeria will sell the PS5 video console for N250,000 and above.
